Q2 2024 Round-Up: Top Pirate Games in the US on Unified Platforms

In the second quarter of 2024, pirate-themed games continued to entertain mobile users across the United States. Data from Sensor Tower reveals how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Sea of Conquest: Pirate War by FunPlus International AG saw a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at nearly $900K in late April but settling around $710K by late June. Downloads for the game experienced a sharp decline from 49K to 12K, while weekly active users dropped from 89K to around 53K.

Joycity Corp's Pirates of the Caribbean : ToW showed an initial revenue of $90K that fluctuated and ended at around $84K. Downloads spiked to nearly 40K in late April but then stabilized to just over 1.8K. The weekly active users mirrored this trend with a surge to 23K before dropping to 4.8K.

SPARKLER GAMES' Lord of Seas displayed a revenue increase from $36K to a peak of around $81K, with a slight dip to $78K by the quarter's end. Downloads saw a mid-quarter rise to over 7K but concluded at 1.6K. Active users peaked at 4.7K in early May but decreased to 1.4K by late June.

Playtika LTD's Pirate Kings™ showed a more consistent revenue pattern, hovering between $40K and $57K. However, there were no new downloads recorded throughout the quarter, and active users steadily decreased from 514 to 292.

Lastly, Samfinaco LLC's Roger That: Merge Adventure! experienced a revenue decline, starting at over $25K and falling to just above $11K. Downloads were inconsistent, dropping to zero mid-quarter, but weekly active users saw a rise from 8.3K to 8.7K before decreasing to 4.9K.
